George Washington figure 75mm · Continental Army miniature · Washington's Spies
The commander who ran the ring: this 75mm scale resin figure depicts General George Washington in his Continental Army uniform. As commander-in-chief he was the driving force behind American intelligence-gathering, and it was Washington who set the Culper Spy Ring in motion. Sculpted by Alan Ball, he heads our “Washington’s Spies” range, inspired by the story dramatised in the AMC series TURN.
The kit is a multi-part resin figure supplied unassembled and unpainted, and requires assembly. Any groundwork shown in the photographs was provided by the artist and is not included. Not suitable for children under 12.
Painting this figure
The buff-and-blue Continental uniform, sash and a strong likeness make Washington a rewarding centrepiece — our Kolinsky sable brushes hold the point for the face and lace.
