Patrick Maxwell Assaye · 19th Light Dragoons figure 75mm · Battle of Assaye 1803

Cavalry command at Assaye: this 75mm scale resin figure depicts Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Maxwell of the 19th Light Dragoons at the Battle of Assaye, 1803. Maxwell led the British and Company cavalry in Wellesley’s hard-won victory over the Maratha Confederacy during the Second Anglo-Maratha War. Sculpted by Alan Ball, he is a fine addition to a display of the Assaye command.

The kit is a multi-part resin figure supplied unassembled and unpainted, and requires assembly. Any groundwork shown in the photographs was provided by the artist and is not included. Not suitable for children under 12.

Painting this figure

The blue Light Dragoon uniform with its lace and braid is a rewarding, high-contrast paint — ideal for our Kolinsky sable brushes. Maxwell is part of our Battle of Assaye range — stand him with Arthur Wellesley and Captain Blakiston, or collect the complete Assaye figure set.
