Pilot, author and broadcaster: this 1/10th fine-scale bust portrays Cecil Arthur Lewis, MC (1898–1997), a First World War fighter pilot who survived the air war, went on to co-found the BBC and enjoyed a long career as a writer — his memoir Sagittarius Rising remains a classic of aviation literature. Sculpted by Robert Lane, he’s a characterful addition to any Great War aviation collection.

The kit is a multi-part bust supplied unassembled and unpainted, and requires assembly. Any groundwork shown in the photographs was provided by the artist and is not included. Not suitable for children under 12.
